FIFE MAN THOMAS CARTER HARASSED AND THREATENED FORMER PARTNER

Thomas Carter, aged 38, from West Shore Road in Edinburgh, appeared before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court after sending abusive messages to his former partner from an address in Kirkcaldy.

Between February 1 and March 3 of the previous year, Carter, residing at Macindoe Crescent, Kirkcaldy, admitted to sending offensive and threatening messages to his ex-partner.

He was sentenced to complete 180 hours of unpaid community work and was issued a 12-month non-harassment order, which prohibits him from making any contact with his former partner.
