In a disturbing case that has shocked the Glasgow community, Terence Lowe, a 44-year-old former Afghanistan war hero, was brought before the court to face serious allegations of domestic abuse and threatening behavior. Lowe, who served four tours of duty in Afghanistan and was once celebrated as a face of an army campaign about coping with combat stress, has a long history of abusive conduct towards a woman in Glasgow, stretching over more than a decade.

The incidents took place at various locations within Glasgow, specifically in the neighborhoods of Scotstoun and Blackhill. The court proceedings revealed that Lowe’s pattern of abuse began as early as December 2010 and continued until September 2021.
