JASON FRIZE OF GLASGOW SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS FOR HORRIFIC SEXUAL ABUSE AGAINST WOMAN AND CHILDREN
A man named Jason Frize, residing in the Milton area of Glasgow, has been sentenced to a decade behind bars after being found guilty of a series of heinous sexual offenses involving a woman and three young girls. The crimes, which spanned over three years from December 2018 to April 2022, took place across multiple addresses in the northern part of Glasgow, where Frize carried out a disturbing campaign of abuse.During this period, Frize subjected his victims to a range of sexual assaults, including rape. One of the most troubling aspects of his crimes was that he assaulted the woman while she was asleep, demonstrating a blatant disregard for her safety and consent. The assault on the woman was part of a broader pattern of predatory behavior that left lasting trauma.
In addition to attacking the woman, Frize attempted to rape one of the young girls, an assault that began when she was only four years old. This particular incident highlights the horrifying extent of his predatory actions and the vulnerability of his young victims. Furthermore, he molested a teenage girl while she was unconscious, adding to the list of his disturbing offenses.
The final victim, a young girl, endured repeated sexual assaults by Frize, illustrating a prolonged period of abuse that caused significant emotional and psychological harm. Despite denying all allegations, Frize was convicted on five charges following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
Judge Douglas Brown, presiding over the case, described Frize’s actions as “obviously planned and deliberate,” emphasizing the calculated nature of his crimes. The court also heard from one of the victims, who submitted an impact statement detailing the “serious harm” inflicted upon her and expressing that she “continues to suffer” from the trauma.
During the sentencing hearing, Frize’s defense counsel, Donald Findlay KC, stated that his client maintains his innocence, despite the conviction. Nevertheless, the court sentenced Frize to ten years in prison and ordered him to be placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely, reflecting the severity of his offenses and the ongoing risk he poses to the community.
