WORCESTER FLASHER MISSES COURT SENTENCE WITH UPSET TUMMY
A FLASHER who exposed his genitals in Worcester four times told a court he was too unwell to be sentenced as he had an upset tummy.Suleman Hussain, whose address on court records is Foregate Street, Worcester, was due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Monday morning (November 17) having been convicted of flashing his genitals.
The court heard that Hussain had failed to show up for the trial at Worcester Magistrates' Court in September and he was found guilty in his absence.
The 32-year-old had exposed his genitals in Worcester three times on June 29 and once on September 2 last year.
Addressing Kidderminster magistrates, Sam Lansdale, defending Hussain, asked for a short adjournment to the case telling the court that her client was unwell, he was now street homeless, and his life was chaotic.
"I phoned Mr Hussain this morning to find out where he was and he said he wasn't very well and was suffering from diarrhoea," she said.
"He's street homeless having lost his tenancy." She said he would have to travel to Kidderminster with all his bags and he had told her that getting to the town from Worcester by train was difficult.
Miss Lansdale asked if the case could be transferred to Worcester Magistrates' Court saying it would be easier for her client to attend.
However, the court said that Hussain would have to be sentenced in Kidderminster.
Magistrates agreed to adjourn the case for seven days and Hussain will next appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on November 24.
