PLEA HEARING DELAYED FOR MAN ACCUSED OF ATTEMPTED MURDER AND RAPE
A man facing charges of attempted murder against a police officer and the rape of a young girl has had his court hearing postponed.Soul Henry, who is currently without a fixed address, was scheduled to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday, July 15, to face ten charges spanning from 2020 to 2026.
Henry is accused of breaking into property, carrying a knife in public, attempting to kill police officer Anna Morrison, and damaging police property following an incident in Clifton near Kempsey on April 19.
The police property involved includes PD Ford, a police dog.
Additionally, he faces three counts of raping a girl aged between 13 and 15, two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, and one count of sexual assault on a woman.
These alleged offenses are said to have occurred up to six years prior.
The court hearing was postponed for three months to allow for a psychiatric evaluation, and Henry remains in custody.
His next court appearance is scheduled for October 26.
