WORCESTER MAN JAILED FOR MULTIPLE SEXUAL ASSAULTS ON CHILD

A MAN has been jailed after multiple sexual assaults on a child.

Ben Barnes, 41 of Back Lane South in Worcester, was convicted of five counts of assaulting a girl under 13.

During a hearing at Worcester Crown Court, he was sentenced to seven years in prison for each of the five offences, with each sentence to run concurrently.

He will be added to the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely and has been ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £190.

Barnes is also subject to a sexual harm prevention order.
