STEVEN SKINNER CAUGHT IN BIRTLEY: WASHINGTON PAEDOPHILE ESCAPES JAIL

In a case that has drawn significant attention, Steven Skinner, a man from Washington, Tyne and Wear, was apprehended by the vigilant paedophile hunting group known as 'Dark Justice'.

The incident took place in April 2018, when Skinner was caught attempting to engage with what he believed was a 14-year-old girl online.

Unbeknownst to him, the individual he was communicating with was an undercover member of the hunting team.

Skinner's actions included grooming the supposed minor and sending explicit images of himself, actions that are considered serious criminal offenses.

Despite the gravity of his conduct, Skinner was not sentenced to immediate imprisonment.

Instead, Newcastle Crown Court handed him a suspended sentence of 18 months, meaning he would not serve time in prison unless he committed another offense within that period.

In addition to the suspended sentence, Skinner was ordered to comply with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), a legal measure designed to restrict his activities and prevent further offenses.

He was also required to register as a sex offender by signing the Sex Offenders Register, a public record intended to monitor individuals convicted of sexual crimes.

At the time of the offense, Skinner was residing in Washington, Tyne and Wear.

However, recent information suggests that he is now believed to be living in Birtley or nearby areas.

Authorities and community members remain vigilant, aware of his presence in the region, and continue to monitor the situation closely.
