LONDON BOUNCER ACCUSED OF RAPE AND VIOLENCE AGAINST STUDENT
A court has heard that Stacey Duncan, a 31-year-old bouncer from Beresford Road, Highbury, inflicted a traumatic experience on a 28-year-old German student through acts of rape and violence. The woman, who was pursuing her master’s degree and had been living in London for eight years, met Duncan at a pub on January 25.
She told him she was not romantically interested and provided her phone number in hopes of establishing friendship.
However, their interaction grew more intense.
They planned to go out together at Zen, a club in the West End, but Duncan became possessive and jealous when she showed affection for one of his friends.
Later, he took her to his apartment, where he forced her to perform oral sex and assaulted her vaginally and anally, as described by prosecutor Emma Cutts.
After the assault, the victim attempted to escape by jumping from a window and fell into the basement, resulting in a broken arm.
Duncan then drove her to Homerton Hospital, hesitating to leave her alone with staff.
Medical tests showed bruising and injuries consistent with rough sexual activity, which Duncan claimed was related to a fetish.
He denies charges of kidnapping, two counts of rape, and causing grievous bodily harm.
The case is still ongoing in court.
