HOTEL MIGRANT 'ABDUCTED AND RAPED GIRL, 15, BEFORE TRYING TO FLEE UK
Yashin Himasara, 21, has been charged with grooming the 15-year-old girl before assaulting her in his hotel room in Feltham, west London, last October.He allegedly kidnapped the girl and intended to remove her from the country to mainland Europe.
The girl was later found in a distressed state at a service station in Kent by a member of the public who raised the alarm.
Himasara, living in the government's asylum seeker housing at the St Giles Hotel, appeared at Isleworth Crown Court with a Sinhala interpreter.
He previously denied a series of charges including kidnapping, rape, assault by penetration, assault by beating, sexual activity with a child, and two counts of strangulation.
The court played footage of her police interview where she explains how he groomed her over weeks, subjected her to sexual abuse, oral rape, and strangulation, and that he was in the process of trying to remove her from the country when apprehended.
The trial continues.
