DOMESTIC ABUSE VICTIM SLAMS 'APPALLING' SENTENCE FOR ABUSER
Ms Jones said: "When you go through a physical assault, you can lose track of things because it is so traumatic." She described the attack by her former partner, Bradley Birch, which left her with emotional and physical scars.
Birch, 33, of Darbys Green, Knightwick, near Worcester, was arrested in December 2025 and pleaded guilty to assault (downgraded from ABH) and criminal damage.
He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, ordered to pay £500 in compensation, and prohibited from contacting Ms Jones or visiting her home or workplace.
The victim called the sentence 'appalling' and expressed that she will carry emotional scars longer than the time served.
