HORNCHURCH MAN JAILED FOR TRYING TO MEET A 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL FOR SEX
A man who sent vulgar sexual messages to a ‘13-year-old' girl was snared by paedophile hunters when he tried to meet her at a McDonald’s restaurant in Romford.Sokol Kllogjri, 42, sent sexual images of himself, images of naked children, and asked the girl to meet him for sexual activity.
Fortunately, the girl he was messaging did not actually exist; it was a decoy account run by members of the paedophile sting group ‘Broken Dreams’.
Kllogjri, of Laburnum Avenue in Hornchurch, was jailed for a year and two months after pleading guilty to sexual communication with a child and attempting to meet a child after grooming.
On September 1, he began sending online messages to a girl claiming to be 13, initially lying that he was 19 before admitting he was old enough to be her dad.
The messages included vulgar content and images of children.
He later asked her to meet at McDonald’s in Romford after school so he could perform sex acts on her.
On September 21, he was outside the fast-food restaurant when he was apprehended by police and paedophile hunters, who recorded the sting.
Kllogjri’s arrest was broadcast online.
His lawyer stated he is remorseful and was motivated by the internet and the fact that his own daughter is of a similar age.
Judge Rosa Dean described him as a parent who committed revolting offences, stating, “It is extremely hard to reconcile you as a parent with these revolting offences.
You made promises of a trip to McDonald’s and planned to meet her after school with the intent to engage in mutual sexual touching.
Appropriate punishment can only be achieved by immediate custody.” He will serve half of his 14-month sentence and is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order banning him from making contact with children under 16 or leaving the country until further notice.
