MAN SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT ON A CLIENT
A man found guilty of sexually assaulting a massage client has been sentenced to a 17-month term that is suspended.
Shawn Gibson, aged 47 and residing at Foxglove Walk, Wiggenhall St Germans, King’s Lynn, appeared before King’s Lynn Crown Court on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, for sentencing following his earlier guilty plea.
In addition to the suspended jail term, Gibson was ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work, attend a 25-day rehabilitative program, and was given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order valid for five years.
He was also directed to pay £1,000 in compensation.
The victim, a man in his 30s, contacted police after experiencing the assault during a massage in West Norfolk on 3 November 2023.
Gibson was taken into custody on the same day and faced charges of sexual assault.
