KING'S LYNN MAN SENTENCED FOR 'PAEDOPHILE MANUAL'
A man who possessed a "paedophile manual" offering advice on sexually abusing minors has received a suspended jail sentence.Norfolk Police stated that the guide was discovered following a search of laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices confiscated from Kirk Pears' residence in King's Lynn.
Additionally, he was found to have 13,852 images of children.
The 38-year-old Pears pleaded guilty to having the manual and creating indecent images.
He was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday to 12 months in prison for the manual and a 10-month sentence for the images, with both terms suspended for two years.
Detective Constable Nicky Gaughan described the case as particularly disturbing, noting that some of the images viewed by specialized officers were among the worst they have encountered.
