SCOTT DOAK'S HORRIFIC CRUELTY IN KING'S LYNN: DOG ABUSE AND SEX OFFENDER SENTENCE REVEALED

Scott Michael Doak, born around 1992 and residing in Freiston, King’s Lynn PE30 4RE, has been convicted of heinous acts of animal cruelty and later criminal offenses involving sexual misconduct. His disturbing history of abuse and neglect towards animals in the King’s Lynn area has garnered significant attention from authorities and animal welfare organizations alike.

Doak was found guilty of causing unnecessary suffering to a Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog named Rocky, as well as to four of Rocky’s puppies. The case highlighted his failure to properly care for the animals, neglecting their basic needs and leaving them in deplorable conditions. The RSPCA first responded to reports of a male dog and puppies being kept in unacceptable circumstances at Doak’s former girlfriend’s property. Upon inspection, the animals were discovered in a bathroom cluttered with mess and debris, including a chewed-up disposable razor. Rocky was severely emaciated, indicating prolonged neglect and malnutrition.

Following the rescue, the RSPCA took custody of the dogs. However, further investigations revealed that Doak had been physically abusing another Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Lily, who was used for breeding purposes. Witnesses reported that Doak had beaten Lily and her puppies—Millie, Penny, and Lizzie—by kicking and throwing them across the room in acts of cruelty. These distressing details underscored the extent of Doak’s brutality towards the animals under his care.

In court, Doak was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison, accompanied by a one-year supervision order and a fine of £116 as a victim surcharge. Additionally, he was disqualified from owning or keeping any animals for a period of 25 years, a severe restriction reflecting the gravity of his offenses.

Further complicating his criminal record, in July 2022, Doak was convicted of serious sexual offenses involving a 14-year-old girl. He received a two-year suspended prison sentence after being found guilty of attempting to cause a child to view sexual images and attempting to engage in sexual communication with a minor. Court proceedings revealed that Doak had sent hundreds of explicit messages with the apparent intent of grooming the girl, who was later revealed to be an adult member of a paedophile hunting team rather than a minor.

Two specialized teams, known as ‘Elite’ and ‘Ghosts,’ collaborated to expose Doak’s online activities. When he arrived at the meeting place believing he would meet the girl, members of the team confronted him and questioned his internet behavior before alerting the police. As a result, Doak was ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years and was subjected to a lifelong sexual harm prevention order, underscoring the seriousness of his misconduct.

These combined criminal acts—animal cruelty and sexual offenses—highlight a troubling pattern of behavior by Scott Doak, whose actions have caused significant harm to both animals and individuals in the King’s Lynn area and beyond.
