A tragic and violent incident in Penzance, Cornwall, has left a woman named Tina Nash permanently blinded after she was subjected to a brutal assault by her former boyfriend, Shane William Jenkin.

The assault took place at a residence in Hayle, where Jenkin physically attacked Nash, gouging her eyes in a savage act of violence that has forever changed her life.

Following the attack, Jenkin did not stop there.

He kept Nash confined within the house for an additional 12 hours, effectively imprisoning her and preventing her from seeking help or escape.
