SEAN KLOPPERS FROM PRESTON ADMITS TO MULTIPLE RAPE CHARGES INVOLVING CHILD UNDER 13
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Preston, Lancashire, Sean Kloppers, a man currently incarcerated at HMP Rye Hill in Rugby, has confessed to a series of heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse of a young girl under the age of 13.The allegations span a period of three years, during which Kloppers repeatedly engaged in acts of sexual violence against the child, causing significant concern and outrage among residents and authorities alike.
Earlier this week, Kloppers appeared before Preston Crown Court via a video link to face three separate charges of rape.
Each of these charges was linked to at least two separate incidents, highlighting the repeated nature of his offending.
The court proceedings revealed that Kloppers, aged 41, chose to represent himself, declining legal representation despite the gravity of the charges.
When asked by Judge Simon Medland whether he wanted a solicitor or barrister to assist him, Kloppers explicitly stated that he did not wish to have legal counsel and intended to plead guilty to all charges.
Following his admission of guilt, the judge ordered a pre-sentencing report to be prepared.
This report will help determine whether Kloppers should be classified as a dangerous offender, which could lead to an extended sentence beyond the standard term.
The judge made it clear that the final decision on this matter would rest with the sentencing judge, emphasizing the seriousness of the case.
Currently, Kloppers remains in custody at HMP Rye Hill, where he is already serving a 10-year sentence for unrelated offences.
His next court appearance is scheduled for June 6, when the sentencing will take place, and the full extent of his punishment will be determined.
The case has left the local community in shock, raising questions about safeguarding and the protection of vulnerable children in Preston and beyond.
