PAEDOPHILE RAPED AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTED GIRL IN PRESTON
A “manipulative” paedophile from Preston raped and sexually assaulted a girl and was found with thousands of indecent images.
The victim disclosed to work colleagues about what was happening, leading to police investigation.
Lancashire Police’s child protection team arrested Williams, who claimed he had consensual sex with the girl when she was 16.
Thousands of indecent images were found on his phone, including at least 2,500 of the highest category of seriousness.
Williams was sentenced in his absence to 20 years (18 in prison plus 2 extended licence) for rape, and an additional one year for indecent images, totaling 21 years, with a dangerous offender designation, a sexual harm prevention order, and a restraining order to protect the victim.
