MAN PLEADED GUILTY TO SEX OFFENCES AGAINST A CHILD
From 2018: Police Scotland has confirmed the conviction of Sean Chisholm, who was sentenced after admitting to sexual offences involving a minor.The 29-year-old acknowledged his guilt for crimes carried out in Inverness and was sentenced to 18 months in prison at Inverness Sheriff Court.
Detective Constable Karen Oliver of the Divisional Child Abuse Investigation Unit said: "Cases of sex offences committed against children are always deeply distressing for all involved.
"The only person responsible for a sexual offence is the perpetrator and I would commend Sean Chisholm's victim and her family for their co-operation and assistance during our enquiries.
"I hope they can take some comfort from the fact that Chisholm will now need to face the consequences of his actions.
