MAN IN COURT FOR OUTRAGING PUBLIC DECENCY IN HEREFORD
A MAN who stripped off and performed a lewd act in Hereford has been up before a court.Scott Ward entered a guilty plea to one count of outraging public decency when he appeared before magistrates in October.
The 50-year-old had committed an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner in Hereford on July 25, prosecutor Elizabeth Blacklock told magistrates.
He had taken off his clothes and performed a sex act on himself in a public place in the city, the court heard.
Ward, of Penhaligon Way, Hereford, was handed a community order and fined £150 for the offence, with magistrates saying that they had taken his guilty plea into account.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £114 victim surcharge.
