INTERNATIONAL SAXOPHONIST SCOTT JENKINS HELD IN DAWN RAID OVER CHILD SEX ALLEGATIONS
A well-known international saxophonist and former music teacher has been arrested following disturbing allegations involving children.Scott Jenkins, 40, of Tonbridge, Kent, was detained at his home address in the early hours of the morning on 28 December 2025 after allegedly engaging in sexual communications with a 13-year-old child.
Jenkins, who is understood to have previously taught at a School of Music in Kent and performed internationally, was detained by civilian online child protection organisation Red Rose UK, who acted under Section 24A of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
The group alleges the arrest followed an online sting operation which identified explicit sexual messaging involving a child.
During the encounter, disclosures were reportedly made by Jenkins claiming he had repeatedly sexually abused a primary-school-aged child.
These disclosures were immediately passed to police.
Kent Police attended the address shortly afterwards, formally arrested Jenkins, and removed him from the property.
He has since been released on bail while further enquiries are ongoing.
The case has sent shockwaves through the local community, with residents expressing disbelief that a man associated with music education and international performance could be linked to such serious allegations.
Police have confirmed that an investigation is active and that safeguarding measures are in place.
Anyone with information relevant to the case has been urged to contact Kent Police directly.
