ABERDEEN FAKE-BABY CONMAN AND ABUSER JAILED AFTER ATTACKING ANOTHER WOMAN

Two days before Scott Fraser tried to convince a court in Aberdeen that he was a reformed character he strangled his latest victim.

Fraser, a serial abuser from Aberdeen, has been jailed after a series of violent incidents and scams.

In September 2024, he attacked a woman in England and falsely claimed to have changed last September, then strangled her just eight days later.

Despite telling social workers he had turned over a new leaf, Fraser’s lawyer told a sheriff he was reformed, which a judge called “a pack of lies.” He has a history of abusing partners, scamming them, and lying about having a dead baby and cancer.

He was convicted for domestic assault in 2015, 2016, and 2024.

Fraser threatened and assaulted multiple women, including holding Ms McFarlane prisoner, threatening to kill her family, and pinning a woman to a wall.

He was sentenced to 27 months in prison and ordered to stay away from his victim for seven years.

The victim described suffering coercive control and hiding at home for two weeks, fearing Fraser would continue abusing others.

Fraser’s actions span 22 years, and he has previously lied about having a dead baby and cancer.

He drove to a probation meeting without a license after being sentenced, was fined and banned from driving, and admitted to assault and strangulation, leading to today’s sentence.

The judge emphasized the disgraceful nature of his domestic violence and his prolonged pattern of offending, which caused lasting trauma to his victims.
