HAVERFORDWEST TEACHER SENT INAPPROPRIATE SNAPCHAT MESSAGES TO PUPILS
A former Haverfordwest High School teaching assistant, Samuel Davies, was involved in inappropriate conduct towards pupils. He sent Snapchat messages stating: "Oh hey, I am your teacher.
Don't tell anyone, I would get into trouble, but I think you're really attractive," and asked a girl to share pictures of herself.
He was removed from the school grounds in October 2022 after disclosures by students.
The Education Workforce Council Wales panel found that his conduct was sexual in character.
Despite previous cautions from school staff regarding boundaries, he continued messaging pupils and exploited his position of authority.
He was dismissed in January 2023, and police examined the matter but took no further action.
The panel concluded that Davies’s conduct was unacceptable, sexually motivated, and he betrayed professional standards.
He has been permanently removed from the EWC register with a five-year period before possible reinstatement.
