WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY TO SEXUAL ASSAULT AT DORSET HOTEL
A 44-year-old woman named Samantha Williamson sexually assaulted a diner at the Captain's Club Hotel & Spa in Christchurch, Dorset, while he was celebrating his anniversary and being cancer-free with his wife.Williamson 'acted like a woman possessed' as she staggered over to the couple, scrambled onto the victim's lap, and remarked, 'I want to sit on your big bamboo'.
The victim, stunned by her behavior, pushed her off, and his wife told Williamson to 'f*** off'.
Rather than listening, Williamson swiped drinks and a candle from the table, spilling them over the wife.
The victim then pushed Williamson away, leading to both falling to the ground, during which she spat and scratched at him.
The court heard that Williamson had been drinking heavily when her partner announced they were relocating, which upset her.
She sat on the victim's lap, pushed herself onto him, and told him her inappropriate desire, prompting his immediate rejection.
Williamson pleaded guilty to sexual assault but avoided jail, instead receiving a six-month community order with a tag-monitored curfew from 8 pm to 6 am, along with a £1,000 compensation order.
The incident happened during a £1,200 weekend trip on June 15, which was meant to be a celebration after the victim received clearance from cancer.
The court was told Williamson's actions caused the couple trauma, and the victim said they would never forget this experience and would no longer visit the area.
The defense stated that Williamson felt regret and embarrassment over her actions and was upset about handling the alcohol and upsetting her partner.
The victim considered a private prosecution for the physical assault that left him bleeding, saying, 'It's a shame.
I would have rather she was prosecuted for the assault than the sexual assault.
The police told me too much time had passed.
I think I’m going to take a private prosecution.' Williamson also lashed out physically at the man, drawing blood, and left the court building with her back to the press, signifying remorse and regret for her conduct.
