LONDON NURSERY WORKERS JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE HORROR

Disturbing CCTV footage exposes the shocking abuse carried out by nursery workers Anbreen Tariq, 45, and Salima Fajal, 40, at a high-end childcare center in London, where charges of child cruelty have been brought against them.

The footage reveals horrifying acts of violence and cruelty inflicted upon young children, some with special needs, between March and July 2021.

Fajal was captured grabbing a three-year-old girl by her arm, holding her in the air, and then slapping her twice.

Further CCTV shows Tariq hitting a non-verbal autistic boy, also three years old, on the back of his head with a mobile phone, and aggressively holding down a two-year-old boy.

The abuse was uncovered after Fajal called her parents to inform them their daughter's nose was bleeding.

Upon investigation, police found the girl had a bruised eye and redness to her face.

The footage was reviewed during a court hearing at Isleworth Crown Court, where family members watched in horror.

The victim's father stated, "This has had a deep emotional and mental impact on my family.

The way my wife and I found out was not ideal.

The first we knew was when Fajal came into our office with someone pretending to be a whistleblower, who we now know is Tariq." The father added that his autistic son, who could not speak, was affected deeply, displaying behaviors such as waking up crying and refusing to be away from his mother.

The CCTV also showed Tariq forcefully holding down a young boy.

His mother described her devastation, saying, "I was left absolutely distraught when I discovered what happened to my son.

He could not tell us because he is autistic." Fajal and Tariq both blamed each other for the abuse, with accusations of keeping CCTV footage to blackmail one another.

Fajal claimed she only slapped a girl because she was choking.

She pleaded guilty to two counts of child cruelty and was sentenced to a suspended sentence, ordered to pay £1,000 compensation to the child's family, and £1,630 in court costs.

Tariq pleaded guilty to three counts of child cruelty and was sentenced to 12 months in jail.

The judge described the CCTV footage as "deeply distressing" and emphasized the profound impact on the children.

Fajal was handed a suspended sentence, while Tariq was imprisoned for a year.

The court condemned the acts as entirely inappropriate and cruel, noting the CCTV clearly shows the casual violence inflicted on the trust children placed in the caregivers.
