STALKER WHO POSTED EXPLICIT PICTURES OF GIRLFRIEND ON FACEBOOK IS JAILED FOR OVER THREE YEARS
A STALKER whose girlfriend tried to kill herself after he uploaded explicit pictures of her to Facebook has been jailed for more than three years.Ross Bulloch, 22, used personal pictures stored on a memory card to make a fake profile and humiliate the girl after she had ended their 10-month relationship.
Bulloch, of Glasgow, repeatedly contacted his victim and taunted her before displaying images of her while she was naked to hundreds of her friends and family.
The vulnerable youngster was so traumatised by the ordeal she tried to hang herself and also slashed her own wrists in two failed suicide bids.
But she bravely reported Bulloch to the police and he was arrested and charged with stalking her between August last year and January.
Spurned Bulloch went on trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court where he insisted he had not been responsible for the pictures appearing on the web.
But a jury convicted him and today Sheriff Thomas Millar blasted him for the incident and ordered him to be kept behind bars for three years and four months.
Bulloch's 19-year-old victim - who cannot be named for legal reasons - had broken down in tears as she told how close members of her own family had seen the pictures.
She said: "I took him off my Facebook when we split up but I never thought he would put the pictures online so I didn't think to ask for them to be deleted.
He was messaging me while he was doing it on Facebook chat telling me that it was him.
I was asking him to delete them and was desperate to find out why he was doing it.
"I told him the police were with me and he replied 'f*** the polis let them see'."
