BELFAST PAEDOPHILE DETAINED AFTER UDA THREAT AND POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL FILES
The individual known as Robert John Parke, aged 33, has been accused and subsequently held accountable for possessing over 1,000 illicit files on devices seized from his residence.Law enforcement reports detail that Parke had openly discussed abducting and sexually abusing children via messaging applications, often using terms such as “baby” to refer to victims.
Despite acknowledging these activities, bail was granted by Mr.
Justice McLaughlin owing to delays in the case and the duration Parke had already spent in custody.
The court was informed that Parke attempted to escape his Belfast home overnight after his family received a threat from the UDA, warning them to expel him or face eviction.
He was later seen fleeing with a family member.
Charges against Parke include possessing prohibited images of children, sharing indecent content, extreme pornography, and inciting others to create indecent materials.
Police investigations revealed that discussions involved drugging and raping children, with explicit phrases about age preferences.
Though the defense argued for bail release due to investigation delays, the judge acknowledged the danger he poses but considered the time served as sufficient.
Strict bail conditions were imposed, prohibiting internet access, contact with minors, and proximity to schools or children’s areas.
