A man named Redvers James Bickley, aged 21, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his housemate Tyler Denton, 25.The incident occurred after a birthday party at their flat in Rhyl, Denbighshire.
Bickley was found guilty of killing Tyler Denton and stabbing three members of her family—her sisters Cody and Shannen, and her father Paul—who attempted to help her.

Her sister Shannen was wounded while trying to assist her.
The Denton family expressed their grief, with her father Paul stating, 'My family's heart has been ripped out.' During the court’s victim impact statements, the family revealed the emotional toll; Tyler's father said he 'hates himself for not being able to save her,' and her sister expressed that she 'still can't be alone anywhere.' The police highlighted Bickley's infatuation with Tyler and his concealed jealousy.
The defense cited an abnormality of mind, describing Bickley as a fantasist with 'two personalities,' claiming his responsibility was diminished.
