On Wednesday, 18 February, Daniel Connelly, 34, was handed an eight-year prison term at Liverpool Crown Court.
The court also issued a restraining order prohibiting him from contacting the victim and his mother, and mandated that he sign the Sex Offender Register for life.
Connelly, who lives on East Parade in Rhyl and is originally from Birkenhead, was convicted of child sexual offences committed during his tenure as a football manager.
The offences spanned over a two-year period from 2021, during which he groomed his 13-year-old victim before engaging in sexual activity.
Following a court trial, Connelly was found guilty of several offences, including participating in sexual activity in the presence of a child aged 13 to 15, inciting a boy in the same age range to engage in sexual acts, and engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a boy aged 13 to 15 who was over 18.
