RAJNIKANT SHAH FROM KENTON SENTENCED TO JAIL FOR SEXUAL ASSAULTS ON BOY UNDER 13

In a recent court ruling, Rajnikant Shah, a 53-year-old newsagent residing on Aston Avenue in Kenton, has been sentenced to a prison term following his conviction for committing two serious sexual assaults on a young boy under the age of 13.

The incidents occurred when the victim was just 11 years old and again when he was 12, highlighting a disturbing pattern of abuse by Shah.

Shah's case was brought before Harrow Crown Court earlier this year, where he was found guilty of the charges.

The court heard details of the assaults, which took place over a period when the victim was in his early teens.

The severity of the crimes and the breach of trust involved in abusing a minor prompted the court to impose a significant custodial sentence.

During the sentencing hearing, the judge ordered Shah to serve a total of 18 months in prison.

However, he was also mandated to serve at least half of that sentence before being eligible for release, ensuring a substantial period of incarceration.

Additionally, Shah is required to sign the sex offenders register for a duration of ten years, a measure aimed at monitoring and managing his potential risk to the community in the future.
