DESPICABLE STALKER THREATENED TO PAY SOMEONE TO RAPE VICTIM AND HER SISTER
Radko Radev, aged 37 and residing in Basford, was sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court for a harrowing case of stalking involving threats to harm his victim, her sister, and her father.Evidence presented during the trial included Radev’s relentless bombardment of the woman with 300 phone calls in just one day.
He also sent her a graphic photo of his genitals and stated with menace that he knew her address and would 'come and end you.' The victim’s statement revealed her persistent fear that Radev might locate her, amid ongoing harassment.
The sentence handed down was four and a half years in prison.
Judge Michael Auty KC underscored the severity of the threats, revealing that Radev told her he would find someone to rape her, her sister, and her father, and that he continuously sent threatening messages including more than 300 messages on September 9, 2025, over a span of 13 hours, and an additional 100 calls the next day.
The prosecution, led by Eunice Gedzah, explained that the stalking incident occurred from March to October of the previous year, beginning with Radev sharing a video performing a sex act.
He then issued menacing threats, promising to pay for assaults on her and her family members.
After his arrest, Radev was subject to a court order barring contact, but he violated it on two occasions by sending friend requests on Facebook.
Radev admitted to the offenses, which included sending explicit images and breaching the court order.
With no prior convictions in the UK, he was remanded for five months before sentencing.
Alongside his prison term, Radev received a 10-year restraining order aimed at preventing further contact.
