Leamington man jailed after raping and committing a brutal murder of close friend

LEAMINGTON MAN JAILED AFTER RAPING AND COMMITTING A BRUTAL MURDER OF CLOSE FRIEND

Piotr Moczulski, aged 26 and a resident of Newgale Walk in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, was found guilty of murdering Elzbieta Kincyzk, a 23-year-old woman who was a close friend of his estranged girlfriend.

During the trial, evidence revealed that he had lured Ms.

Kincyzk to a meeting, where he proceeded to sexually assault her before killing her by clubbing her to death.

Moczulski maintained his innocence throughout, but the jury convicted him at Warwick Crown Court.

CCTV footage played a pivotal role, showing Ms.

Kincyzk entering his vehicle, despite his insistence that he was not involved.

Her last sighting was on 6 June 2010, and her body was later found in a field near Windmill Hill Lane shortly after midnight on 17 June.

Mobile tracking data placed his car near the crime scene on 16 June.

The judge, Mrs.

Justice Macur, sentenced Moczulski to life imprisonment, with a minimum term of 32 years before he is eligible for parole.

She described his actions as 'most brutal' and noted his apparent lack of remorse.

The victim’s family expressed their sorrow and questioned what Elzbieta Kincyzk had done to deserve such a fate, with her son Patrys mourning her loss.

Police officials commended the conviction and emphasized the crime’s brutality and senselessness, highlighting the cruelty involved.
