COURT HAS ORDERED PHILIP SKIRVING TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER FOR AN INDEFINITE PERIOD.
A hearing at the Justiciary Buildings on Saltmarket in Glasgow on 23 September 2025 resulted in a prison term and the issuance of a non-harassment order against Philip Skirving.The court issued a Non-Harassment Order (NHO) that prevents him from approaching, contacting, or attempting to do either to the victim This order is valid indefinitely and can be enforced by law.
Violating its conditions is a criminal offence that could lead to arrest and further legal action.
The court also ordered Skirving to register as a sex offender for an indefinite period.
Management of the register is handled by specially trained police officers, with monitoring protocols adjusted based on the perceived risk to the public.
The judge sentenced him to six years in prison, with the sentence starting from 8 August 2025, accounting for time already served prior to sentencing.
All previous bail conditions have been lifted, according to the court.
