PHILIP PEARTREE FROM ORFORD CAUGHT WITH DISTURBING CHILD AND ANIMAL VIDEOS IN LIVERPOOL
In a case that has shocked the local community of Orford, Philip Peartree, a 35-year-old man residing on Clegge Street, faced serious criminal charges related to the possession and distribution of highly disturbing indecent videos involving children and animals.The incident came to light after police executed a search warrant at his residence, uncovering a collection of illicit videos and photographs that depicted young children and extreme pornography involving animals.
Peartree appeared before Liverpool Crown Court on a Thursday to face the charges.
The authorities confirmed that during the search, they found multiple videos and images that were classified as indecent and highly inappropriate.
The evidence included videos of children aged between seven and nine, categorized as Category A, and children aged between six and eight, categorized as Category B.
These videos were part of a broader collection that also contained extreme pornographic material involving animals.
He was charged with several serious offenses, including two counts of distributing indecent videos of a child, one count of creating an indecent video of a child, and possession of indecent videos of children.
Peartree admitted to all charges during the court proceedings, acknowledging his involvement in these criminal activities.
The court sentenced Peartree to a total of 30 months in prison, with 16 months for the Category A videos, eight months for the Category B videos, and an additional six months for the other counts.
However, these sentences were not to be served immediately; instead, they were suspended for a period of two years, meaning Peartree will not serve time unless he commits further offenses within that period.
Furthermore, Judge Denis Watson ordered Peartree to register as a sex offender for the next ten years.
In addition to the registration requirement, a sexual harm prevention order was also imposed, restricting his activities and contact to prevent any potential harm to others in the future.
The case has raised significant concerns about the safety and well-being of children and animals, and the community remains vigilant in the wake of these disturbing revelations.
