CHATGPT SAID: REPEAT OFFENDER CAGED AGAIN: PETER MILLER JAILED FOR CHILD SEX CRIMES
A notorious child sex offender from Wrexham has been jailed once again after admitting to fresh charges of possessing indecent images of children.
Peter Miller, formerly known as Peter Drake, was sentenced this week to 21 months in prison, handed a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), and will be required to sign the Sex Offenders Register for a decade.
The 54-year-old pleaded guilty on August 1st, 2025, after police uncovered sickening material involving young girls aged between 3 and 14 years old.
In November 2020, officers swooped on Miller’s home after receiving intelligence from Skype, which flagged illegal activity on his account.
When confronted, Miller admitted to police that the allegations were true, calling himself “stupid” for what he’d done.
Investigators later recovered 26 indecent images — including four at Category A, one at Category B, and 21 at Category C — depicting children being abused.
Back in March 2021, Miller was spared jail and instead given an 18-month community order and a five-year SHPO for similar offences.
But despite that leniency, he has continued to offend.
Miller had previously changed his surname from Drake to Miller in 2019, moving from Llandudno to Wrexham in a bid for a “fresh start” following his 2008 conviction involving a 14-year-old girl.
Community groups who helped expose Miller have praised the conviction.
“Well done to Seren, who was with us at the time, and Ava for catching this beast,” one spokesperson said.
“Also big thanks to Children’s Voices, J4K, and STOP UK for their relentless research and persistence in bringing him to justice.” Once again, this serial predator is behind bars — but with his history of reoffending, many will question whether 21 months is anywhere near long enough.
