for five yearsA 61-year-old man has been sentenced for making almost 1,000 indecent images of children.Peter Maxwell, of Turnpike Close, St John's, Worcester, pleaded guilty to numerous child sex offences between June 2010 and January 2024 at Worcester Crown Court.He admitted to making nine indecent images of a child which fall into category A, the most severe and graphic category.Maxwell also admitted to making seven Category B images of a child, 975 Category C images of child, and possessing 13 prohibited images of a child.He received four 15-month committal orders, to be served concurrently, as well as 150 hours of unpaid work, a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a requirement to appear on the Sex Offender Register for five years
