TEENAGER ADMITS SEX ATTACK SERIES
A man has admitted a series of sex attacks on children and a young woman.Peter James Cunliffe, 19, from Padiham, Lancs, admitted the attempted rape and kidnap of a 14-year-old girl and attempted kidnap of a girl, aged 12.
He also admitted trespass in an attempt to commit a sex offence and two other serious sex offences, one on a 21-year-old woman.
He appeared at Preston Crown Court and was remanded in custody until 28 October for reports.
Cunliffe also denied seven other charges which were allowed to lie on the file.
The offences took place between 10 and 21 April this year in Burnley.
Judge Jonathan Foster QC said: "I know you are aware these are serious offences.
You are under obligation to sign the sex offenders' register."Mr Timothy Ashmole, defending, said: "There is an indication that he is of low intelligence.
"He is a young man who has had difficulties in the past."
