CATHOLIC SCHOOL HEADTEACHER PETER ALLOTT IS JAILED FOR HORRIFIC STASH OF CHILD PORN
Peter Allott, aged 37, lived a double life as a committed Christian and headteacher.During the weekends, he participated in drug-enhanced paedophile sex orgies as a deputy head.
He developed an addiction to child abuse images and MDMA at high-risk 'chemsex' parties costing around £600.
Investigators discovered close to 400 disturbing images of children as young as two on his iPhone, which he stored on a hard drive at his office within St Benedict's School, where he earned £15,000 annually.
A raid on his home, owned by the same school, uncovered the Class A drug MDMA.
The private institution has a troubled history, including a former teacher sentenced to nearly 40 years for sexual abuse and another clergy member who remains at large facing child abuse allegations.
Allott, employed there since 2004 and deputy head since 2012, was sentenced to 33 months after admitting to possessing 25 highly offensive images and sharing them with others.
He also admitted to drug possession.
A representative of the school expressed their shock, noting Allott had already resigned and would not return.
The court was informed that his addiction stemmed from the recent deaths of his mother and grandmother.
Judge Peter Hillen handed down a 33-month sentence.
