TUNSTALL MAN JAILED FOR BRUTAL SEX ATTACKS IN COUNTRY PARK
Pawel Flak, aged 39 and residing in Tunstall, has received a ten-year prison sentence after being convicted of two rape charges.The assault occurred in January 2022 at Park Hall Country Park and involved Flak perpetrating a violent sexual assault against a male victim.
During proceedings, it was revealed that Flak initially asked to use the victim’s mobile phone flashlight because his motorbike was malfunctioning.
Nonetheless, he forcibly committed the sexual act during the daylight hours.
The jury, after hearing evidence in a trial in December last year, rejected Flak’s lies and found him guilty of the charges.
In addition to his custodial sentence, Flak will be on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely and is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order that lasts for 15 years.
Staffordshire Police’s Detective Constable Daniel Pearce praised the victim's courage in reporting the crime and emphasized the importance of raising awareness for sexual offenses, assuring that victims will be supported and that justice will be pursued.
