PAUL WRIGHT SEX OFFENDER FROM WREXHAM SENTENCED FOR ATTACK ON 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL

In a case that has shocked the community of Wrexham, Paul Wright, a 22-year-old known resident of Cefn Dre, was sentenced to serve time in prison following a disturbing incident involving a young girl. The incident took place in August 2002, when Wright was found guilty of molesting a 12-year-old girl after deliberately intoxicating her with alcohol.

Wright's actions came to light during a court hearing at Mold Crown Court, where Judge Merfyn Hughes QC presided over the case. The judge sentenced Wright to 18 months behind bars and ordered him to be registered as a sex offender for a period of ten years. The court's decision underscores the seriousness with which such offenses are treated and the commitment to protecting vulnerable minors from predatory individuals.
