2004: WORCESTER MAN JAILED FOR HARASSING EX-GIRLFRIEND AT SCHOOL
A man responsible for a pattern of harassment against his ex-girlfriend has been sentenced to prison.
Paul Noke, residing on Astwood Road in Brickfields, Worcester, received a three-month jail term at Worcester Magistrates' Court.
Despite warnings from the court, he persisted in bothering his former partner by visiting her at her workplace—a primary school—the damage of a door, confronting her in the street, and making visits to her residence.
On January 9, Noke admitted to charges of criminal damage and harassment.
He was given concurrent sentences of three months for harassment and one month for criminal damage.
A restraining order was also imposed for 12 months, prohibiting him from approaching his former partner.
The court took into account his early plea and cooperation with authorities.
The case was compounded by earlier incidents from the previous January, which involved similar criminal damage and harassment following the end of their relationship, reportedly influenced by his involvement with another man and harmful messages sent to her.
