BILLINGHAM MAN JAILED FOR BREACHING DOMESTIC ABUSE ORDER DESPITE BEING BANNED FROM CONTACT
An abuser identified as Paul Murray, aged 39, was caught by police in Billingham town centre with a woman on September 11, despite having been prohibited from contacting her by a Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO).Subsequently, he was charged with breaching this court order and appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on September 12.
He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for his actions.
