BILLINGHAM MAN HANDED SUSPENDED SENTENCE FOR CHILD SEX IMAGES AND ANIMAL ABUSE
A Billingham man was found with dozens of indecent images of children and extreme pornographic images involving animals.Jake Cameron admitted the series of sick offences and was handed a suspended prison sentence at Teesside Crown Court.
The 22-year-old admitted making indecent images of children between February 2024 and 2025.
Court documents show Cameron admitted making 30 category C, 21 category B and 12 category A photographs - the latter being the most serious of indecent images.
In addition to this, Cameron was also in possession of six prohibited images of children and five extreme pornographic images.
These showed vile images involving dead or alive animals.
Cameron was handed a two month prison term suspended for two years at his sentencing hearing on January 16.
He must complete up to 35 rehabilitation activity requirement days and carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
Court documents confirm a deprivation order was made in relation to his two mobile phones, where the images were located.
The defendant, of Hambleton Square, Billingham, will be subject to notification requirements for 10 years and a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) for the same period of time was also made.
