PERTH MAN FACES MULTIPLE CHILD ABUSE CHARGES IN COURT
A 42-YEAR-OLD Perth man made a brief appearance in private at the Sheriff Court this week, charged with behaving indecently towards a young girl over a seven-year period.The incidents are alleged to have started in June 2001, when the victim was just eight – and continued until November, 2008.
Patrick Logan Walker, of Cluny Terrace, made no plea and his case was continued for further inquiries.
He was released on bail but special conditions were imposed.
It is alleged that on various occasions between June 1, 2001, and May 31, 2005, at a house in Hillyland, Perth, and at his home, he removed the girl’s clothing and handled her breasts and private parts.
A second charge alleges that he again used lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour towards the same girl at his home between June 1, 2005, and November 8, 2008.
A third charge alleges that between September 1, 2007, and October 31, 2007, he committed a breach of the peace by entering a bedroom occupied by two girls, unfastened his trousers, stood close to them and placed them in a state of fear and alarm.
