HARTCLIFFE MAN OWEN HALL JAILED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES

A man who admitted having sex with a 14-year-old girl has been jailed for four years.

Offences came to light after the youngster suspected she may be pregnant, Bristol Crown Court heard.

An investigation established she had been having intimate contact with 26-year-old Owen Hall.

Hall, of Maynard Road in Hartcliffe, pleaded guilty to inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, having sexual activity with a child and engaging in sexual communication with a child.

The recorder Mr Jonathan Barnes told him: “What you did has caused substantial long-term psychological damage to an already very vulnerable girl.

“You knew full well what you were doing.” Hall was told to register as a sex offender for life and was barred from working with children and vulnerable adults.
