SURREY MAN JAILED FOR BRUTAL ATTACKS ON EX PARTNER IN BRACKNELL
A man named Oliver Neal, aged 25, from Sandy Road, Addlestone, Surrey, has been sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to two serious offenses—section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and battery.
The incident occurred on October 4th of the previous year when Neal viciously assaulted his former partner, a woman in her twenties, while they were in a car.
Neal physically struck her multiple times in the face, resulting in a black eye and facial bruising.
The victim ended the relationship in early December.
Subsequently, on December 8th, Neal unlawfully entered a property in Bracknell where she was staying and inflicted further severe injuries, including a broken nose, two fractured eye sockets, black eyes, and a hemorrhage injury to her right eye, along with other facial wounds.
Detective Constable Anuk Sirisena commented on the case, emphasizing the victim's bravery in supporting this conviction, which characterizes Neal as a danger to women.
Neal was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, July 22, to four years in prison.
The case highlights police efforts to protect victims of domestic abuse and enforce accountability.
