MAN JAILED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE
A man has received a prison sentence after being convicted of child sexual abuse in Warrington.
Odday El-Saddi appeared before Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, July 7, where he was sentenced to 17 years behind bars.
Additionally, he was ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
The 48-year-old resident of Regency Square, Warrington, was previously convicted on 15 charges related to sexual misconduct.
These included the sexual assault of a child under the age of 13 and the rape of a child under 13.
During the trial, the court was informed that El-Saddi had initiated sexual abuse when the victim was only nine years old.
The abuse occurred on multiple occasions over a span of three years, from 2019 to 2022.
