TRANS WOMAN JAILED FOR INDECENCY IN LUDLOW GARDEN
Nicola Watson, a 55-year-old trans woman, was captured on CCTV engaging in indecent behavior in a garden in Ludlow on April 16 of the previous year. The footage showed her wearing only furry boots and peering through bedroom windows, engaging in public exhibitionism.
The homeowner received an alert from her smart CCTV system and reviewed the recording, which depicted Watson walking around the garden and looking into a bedroom window while committing indecent acts.
The police were alerted after the footage was shared with law enforcement.
During her court appearance, Watson sat quietly in the dock, dressed in a pink cardigan with a flower in her hair.
She was already a convicted sex offender serving a sentence until 2025 for earlier sexual offences.
The judge, Jonathan Gosling, described her conduct as "revolting" and an "acts of self-indulgent exhibitionism" that caused shame and upset to the victim, who was not present.
Watson admitted to deliberately trespassing with the intent to commit a sexual offence.
Her prior convictions include nine offences from various years, including harassment in 1994 and 2007.
Her defense attorney, Peter Hemming, remarked that Watson has a history of sexual offences and has not cooperated with probation officers.
She was sentenced to three years in prison to run concurrently with her ongoing sentence, which will conclude in 2025.
