LUDLOW TEEN GETS COMMUNITY ORDER FOR LEAKING PRIVATE IMAGES AND DESTRUCTION
A TEENAGER has been sentenced to an 18-month community order with unpaid work after admitting disclosing a woman’s private sexual images without her consent.
Neo Lello, 18, of Sandpits Avenue, Ludlow, was sentenced at Telford Magistrates’ Court on February 5 for offences of disclosing a private sexual photograph or film and criminal damage.
The court heard how he leaked a woman’s private images with the intent of causing her distress, and then caused damage to her family’s home by damaging a front window and a TV.
He also caused damage to a car that was parked at the address.
Lello’s actions were described as “reckless”, and caused over £2,000 of damage.
He has been sentenced to a community order including 26 days of “building choices” rehabilitation activities, and 120 hours of unpaid work.
He must also pay £740 in compensation to the homeowners and £260 in compensation to the owner of the car.
He has been handed a restraining order and must not contact the female victim of the sexual offence or her family for a year.
