TAYSIDE BUS PERVERT JAILED FOR EXPOSING HIMSELF TO GIRL
Neil Beattie was jailed for abusing a young girl on a Tayside bus.The court heard he engaged in sexual activity on the Stagecoach X7 bus between Dundee and Arbroath earlier this summer.
He took out his penis after moving to a seat behind his 16-year-old victim.
The 39-year-old, previously on the sex offenders register for twice performing solo sex acts for a woman's Ring doorbell camera, admitted the offence.
Beattie suffered from substance misuse disorder and had taken cocaine on the day of the offence.
The court indicated there was no alternative to prison, as Beattie continued to deny the offence despite pleading guilty in July.
Sheriff Mark Thorley described him as a risk to the public and sentenced him to eight months in jail.
He will remain on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
