BLACK COUNTRY MAN NATHAN LOCKLEY JAILED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THREATS TO WOMEN
A violent boyfriend identified as Nathan Lockley has been officially labeled a "danger to women" after he violently attacked his third partner.According to reports, Lockley kicked the victim, causing her to fall down the stairs, and also punched her, pushed her, and ripped her clothes during a terrifying assault.
He subsequently threatened to kill her family via a Facebook post.
Lockley, aged 29, was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
Prosecutor James Hudson described the incident, stating, "Lockley and his partner were out drinking on May 26 when an argument broke out.
She wanted to go home, but he drove her to his address in Vale View, Newcastle, around 2 am.
An altercation ensued where she was punched, pushed, and threatened with a hammer.
She fled and sought help at a petrol station.
It was revealed she was no longer in a relationship with Lockley.
Additionally, Lockley was involved in an altercation at a pub in Hanley, where he pushed and punched Damien Galligher, resulting in a fractured jaw and metal plates.
Lockley has a history of violence with 20 convictions for 33 offences, including previous assaults on two partners in 2016 and 2022, and has pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, threats to kill, threats to commit criminal damage, and GBH.
The sentencing judge emphasized his dangerous behavior, citing his repeated offending and violent conduct, especially towards women.
The court condemned Lockley's condoning of violence, his aggression problems, and his history of domestic abuse, making a strong case for immediate custodial imprisonment.
